As we come to the close of another year, we are filled with gratitude for your unwavering support. Together, we continue to embody the values of compassion, love, generosity, kindness, and service to others. Each and every action you take helps us fulfill our mission of feeding children in poverty across Colombia. We want to share some exciting updates with you, as well as express our deepest thanks for your continued dedication.
This December has been full of Christmas miracles. Beyond purchasing food for our partner kitchens, we have been working on building bridges between private donors and the women who provide for the children. Thanks to these efforts, more than $1,000 was privately donated for Christmas presents for the children. Thank you Joel Dietz for the $500 donation of gifts for the children of Hogar de Misericordia and to all who helped provide direct donations for presents for the kids in Cali.
As many of you know, we have been worried about being able to have enough donations to continue providing our food purchases for all of our partner kitchens into 2025. Another miracle this month was that we received our largest one-time donation to date ($2,000) from Cinthia Delacruz and Sean Tritsch LLC. This donation, as well as countless other contributions this past month, has been a complete game-changer and miracle for us and is making it possible now for us to continue our work and impact into 2025.
In addition, another "direct" donor. Partrick (who has been in constant support the past months) is now helping to provide over $4000 for a brick and mortar building for Adiela and Comedor Dulce Esperanza en Potrero Grande, Cali. This is another miracle act as Adiela has been hoping to expand her operations beyond her living room for many years. This is a dream come true and will greatly benefit the children of the community there.
All of these gifts and extra support act as a beautiful reminder of the power of generosity and compassion, and they are bringing much-needed joy and hope to the children we serve. We couldn’t be more grateful for all who continue to act in order to benefit the children.

As we reflect on this season of giving, we look forward to the incredible impact that kindness has on our world. Each meal, each gift, and each moment of service, makes a profound difference. Through your support, we have been able to feed hundreds of children in Colombia, providing not just physical nourishment, but also emotional and spiritual nourishment. These children are all individual souls of light —they are lives transformed by love.
This holiday season, we’ve seen countless acts of generosity, and we are deeply humbled by your dedication to serving others. You have helped make Compassion Kitchens a place of hope, and we continue to be inspired by the kindness and compassion that surrounds us.
We will be sending out our "2024 Impact Report" in the next few weeks and we look forward to sharing some more big news with you regarding a few church sponsorships and grant opportunities in 2025.
As we move into the new year, we are more committed than ever to continue our mission. The children we are helping to feed are still in need of our support and by maintaining and expanding our food purchases, with your support, we can continue our mission of providing meals for them. Whether through your donations, your time, or simply your encouragement, you are helping to create a world where love and generosity are the foundation for lasting change.
