We create partnerships with local kitchens to maximize our impact and bring food to as many children as possible
Hijos de la Guajira is a kitchen set up outside the largest refugee camp in South America. They have been operating a children's soup kitchen that provides lunch for about 300 kids daily but are struggling to stay open. Thanks to our compassionate donors, we have been able to make monthly recurring donations of 250 kilos of rice and lentils to help support them.

This is a small soup kitchen that recently opened in one of the poorest areas of Eastern Cali, Colombia. They have been struggling to stay open due to lack of support and funding. We have been able to set up a strategic partnership with this kitchen and now, with your support, provide the ingredients they need to stay open. Approximately 60 children rely on their kitchen for daily meals.

The generosity of our donors has allowed us to start a new partnership with this small kitchen in the Portero neighborhood of Eastern Cali. This neighborhood has a sad history of violence and poverty, but thanks to the volunteers at this kitchen, there is a great force of kindness and hope for local children. The Kitchen here serves about 80 children every evening. Many have gone the entire day without a meal.

We provide $100/month for Rice/Oil
This is our smallest kitchen. It serves displaced refugees from the Choco region of Colombia. Military groups have displaced many of them from their homes, so they have been living in the outskirts of Cali without access to basic necessities. Three local mothers serve food to the approximately 3 dozen children living there.
Program Status:
We provide $150/month for Rice/Lentils/Beans/Oil/Spices
This kitchen does their best to serve meals to over 200 children every weekend, but they are struggling to fulfill the need. The area is plagued with extreme poverty and many of the children are from displaced indeginous tribes in the surrounding areas.
Program Status:
We provide $350/month for food purchases
We have partnered with a local foundation to help open 3 small kitchens in the region. Each kitchen is serving 30 children Monday -Friday. Our hope is to expand our partnership with this foundation and these kitchens to be able to help more children living in extreme poverty and hunger. We are currently fundraising to provide 200/month for each of the 3 kitchens.
